At Handmade by Ladybug, every journal is handcrafted with care. We want you to love your purchase, and we are committed to providing excellent customer service.
Returns
We accept returns within 14 days of delivery for eligible items.
To qualify for a return, items must be:
- Unused
- In their original condition
- Returned in original packaging when possible
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrives damaged or incorrect.
Non-Returnable Items
Because our products are handmade, the following items cannot be returned:
- Customized or personalized products
- Items showing signs of use
- Gift cards (if offered)
Minor variations in color, pattern placement, embellishments, ribbons, charms, or handmade details are part of the unique nature of our products and are not considered defects.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the item
- Photos of the packaging (if applicable)
We will review the issue and work with you to provide a replacement or refund when appropriate.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding approval of your refund.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Please allow 5–10 business days for your financial institution to process the refund.
Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please place a new order after your return has been approved.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase. After this period, production, packaging, or shipping may have already begun and cancellation may no longer be possible.
